92545 : 1900 Horse Drawn Delivery Wagon (Hersheys Chocolate)

Back in 2001, Mattel where still producing some great models under the brand of ”Matchbox Collectibles”; for me I think its a crying shame that they stopped doing these larger scale models. I certainly think if they were to start again the quality and detail of these models would surely show that there is still a market for them.

The model I want to showcase today is the 1900 Horse Drawn Wagon, the casting was only used the once as part of the Platinum Edition sub-range of highly detailed models and for its only outing it was dressed up in the livery of Hersheys Chocolate from America in the 1900s.

As you would expect from a highly premium model the detail is second to none, from the single horse pulling the wagon, to the detail of the driver its hard to find any fault with this model.  If you look to the back of the wagon there is a delightful load of fresh crates of chocolate and some milk urns to make more.
