MB1266 : 2018 Dodge Durango
New for 2022 is the MB1266 Dodge Durango and like a lot of the new vehicles it leaves you with mixed feelings. For me you cant really fault the design, it captures the real car perfectly, in fact I suspect Dodge would be very happy with how this one has turned out and its initial release in black helps capture the essence of this vehicle. The design team have done a superb job with the detail of the tampo prints on the front and rear and the choice of wheels suit the car well.
Sadly the Durango has also been attacked by the accountants and has that now common feature of blacked out windows which means no interior just to save a few pennies. I can only imagine how frustrating this must be for the designers who do such a great job and I really dont understand why Mattel insist on cheapening the brand and the product just to please the American US$1 price point.
