Positioned at #41 for the 2021 is the second outing for the Polaris RZR and its a bit of a let down.  Sure the design is good, it certainly looks like the real thing and has the appeal that would attract a variety of buyers from collectors to kids which is just what Mattel would be aiming for.

The problem I have with it is the apparent lack of imagination in the colour choice, when you look at the real thing it appears that black or variants of that colour are the standard and I guess that plays a part in the design decision but there are ways with the clever use of tampo printing to give the Polaris a new look while retaining the overall realistic black colouring.

Matchbox MB1203 : Polaris RZR (2020 release)

Sure this new version has blue highlights and not the Orange highlights of last years model but apart from that it just appears to be relatively the same as last year.  Look at the real model though and surely the designers at Mattel can use the expansive talent to do something that would give you a new model that look surprisingly different from the current options.
