This classic racer appears this year for only the 2nd time in the basic range at #44, its first outing was last year (2020) in a Top Gun 5 pack and then again in a very similar colour in the 2020 base range, this year though we find it in a silver/grey colour.

A great little vehicle and certainly the design has captured the spirit of world beating racing car, again though it is the little details that let this model down, we have seen just how good the tampo printing can be and this evident on this very model with the detailed Aston Martin logo on both the front and the rear of the model but once gain Mattel have decided to just paint the headlights plain white which detract from the beauty of the model as a whole.  I think you can get away with having a plain design for the rear taillights as they are much smaller but the headlights being so prominent deserve more detail in their design, it would be good to know if this would add cost, maybe that is the reason for the simple white lights.
