MB1240 : 1984 Toyota MR2

Another new release for 2021 and immediately this is one to hunt down for a planned variation. This new casting was revealed at last years virtual Albuquerque gathering and quickly became a favourite among collectors as they waited patiently for its release.  Well the time has come, in most places it is now turning up but lookup for that planned variation.

Its probably a safe bet to say that every future release will immediately be released in both variants; I am of course only speculating and we will not know for sure until other releases are made available but certainly having an open & a closed headlight variant for every release will without doubt boost sales within the collecting community.

As you would hope the tampo detailing is used really well to highlight the rear of the car and also the badging to the front of the car but by far the standout part of this car is one of the smallest details; that being the head lights.  Coming in both variants not only provides collectability but to the more astute child a higher level of play value as well.
