After a 7 year absence its back and what a return it is. 2014 was the last time we saw this casting when it appeared in a 5 pack and a selection of different 10 packs over 2014 and in to 2015.
For its return to be as part of the UK Collection is a stroke of genius on behalf of Mattel and the team at Matchbox who make these decisions and better yet is the colour choice for its return appearance; not only is this a classic British marque but to have it issued in a traditional British Racing Green is an awesome choice.
The detail on the casting is impeccable and is superbly highlighted by the choice of tampo prints, not just headlights, tail lights but down to the Lotus name along the back as well.
Well done Mattel this is what it is all about, a definite must have for the collection
