DYB07 : Lotus Super Seven

Back in 1999 when Mattel made some larger scaled models under the Matchbox brand they released this beauty.  The DYB07 : Lotus Super Seven was the last in a series of seven vehicles that made up the British Sports Car Series which was part of the short lived ”Dinky Collection”.

Of the seven cars in the series this is one of the harder to find ones because at the time it only saw release in the American & Australian markets; licensing issues prevent its release in Europe at the time.

There are no known variations of the model so with its restricted release at least you only have to hunt down the one variation.  If you find one with original packaging then it comes in the standard yellow Matchbox Collectibles box as pictured and that was in side a plain white mailer box labelled DYB07-M in black text on the box end
