1965 Land Rover Series II

At #91 in the 2021 basic range we find the Land Rover Series II or as it is called by Matchbox the Gen II a well designed cast cheapened by the accountants at Mattel.

Originally released in 2019 this model had the potential to be a great casting loved by collectors and children because of the real vehicles universal appeal; sadly the Mattel accountants get involved and so it comes with blacked out windows in a silly attempt to hide the fact there is no interior.

Of course the next thing I dont like on this version is the shade of green chosen, of course this vehicle can be found all over the world and in various shades of green but its highly unlikely to be found in such a bright shade of green, but I guess the kids will like it.
