New for 2021 and what a debut it is. This new casting of the Mercedes-Benz G500 Cabrio first sees the light of day as part of the Matchbox Collectors series at number 16 of a total of 20 vehicles.
Presented in an all black scheme that somehow just works and works well, black body, black chassis, black interior & black 6 spoke slotted wheels doesnt sound too exciting yet for this model it just works.
Maybe its the casting but for me its the attention to detail highlighted by selected tampo printing of the front grille, headlights, taillights and Mercedes logo on the spare wheel at the back; a fantastic first outing and I look forward to seeing this casting more and more in the coming years.
