MB867 : Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 Polizia
Well this is a strange one to blog about, not for the casting itself because you certainly cant fault that. The sleek sporty look of the Lamborghini is expertly captured in this model, but what I fond strange is the choice of decoration.
To my knowledge this is the first and only time that Mattel have put their own logo on a basic range model and it seems strange that this is the one they choose to do that with.

It makes sense that Mattel would put their logo on a model but why the Lamborghini, surely it would make more sense to put it on the side of a delivery vehicle of some sort or if you are going to go down the road of making a realistic corporate security vehicle then there is a whole range of more appropriate cars to choose from.
