MB671 : 2005 Ford GT
Again we look at the return of another older casting and once again Mattel / Matchbox have absolutely nailed it!
The MB671 : 2005 Ford GT was first released in 2005 and saw some regular appearances in the basic ranges over the years up until 2012, there were then two more 5 Pack appearances in 2013 and again in 2016 before the cast was put on hiatus until now.

This is a casting that I have always liked, designed by Ryu Asada he manage to truly capture the essence of the GT and the latest release is no exception. The improvements in tampo technology make this one of the best variations of them all,
The original release from 2005 had the headlights tampo printed in a plain grey, which at the time was about the best that Mattel could offer. But look at them now! So much more detail, so much more realism and it really makes the model absolutely stunning.
