Matchbox MB684 : Volkswagen Golf V Gti (2021 Basic Range)
Another casting has returned from the vaults!
This is another great casting that I am glad to see return, from its initial release in 2006 in bright red we saw a new version each year up until the yellow or green versions of the 2010 basic range after which it disappeared and wouldnt rejoin the ranks of modern Matchbox until 2017 when it would again appear in the basic range; this time in Grey.
This return was short lived as it would not reappear again until now (2021) and what a return it is!

Its been a while since we have seen this casting and its not only good to see it back in the mix but its good to see that it has not been modified other than the base text. The colour choice highlights just how good this casting is and I cant wait to add this one to my Matchbox garage.
