2021 MBX Fire Rescue 5 Pack

If you are going to have a 5 pack with 5 previously released Matchbox cars then this is the one.  The 2021 MBX Fire Rescue 5 pack is the 14th set this year and quite frankly despite it being all previously released vehicles it must rank up there as one of the best yet.

The pack consists of the MB949 : Flame Tamer , MB679 : Matchbox Ambulance , MB1021 : 2015 RAM 1500 , MB901 : Ford Police Interceptor & MB1003 : Freightliner M2 106 Fire Tanker and what a collection it makes.  Grouped together like this was a stoke of brilliance from the team at Mattel.

Matchbox MB949 : Flame Tamer

The Flame Tamer is casting that has been around in some form or another since 2006, this particular version was released as MB949 back in 2016 as part of the Fire Brigade 5 pack of that year.

The second vehicle being the Matchbox Ambulance from the 2018 basic range where it appeared at #60 which was followed by the 2017 basic range RAM 1500.

The last two vehicles in the set are the Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor from the 2017 City Service 5 Pack and the Freightliner M2 from the 2016 Basic range.
