I think I have found my favourite Matchbox of 2021 and so early in the year. I really think it will be hard to top this one, I just cant see how the Mattel design team will be able to better this release.

Firstly the casting itself just really captures the look, feel and strength of the real machine, with its 5L V8 a car like this needs to look tough and the Mattel team have captured that so well; when you scale down a vehicle sometimes its hard to retain the lines of the real vehicle but in this case the design team at Matchbox have captured it perfectly.

If thats not enough the chosen colour is not only representative of the real thing as well but just really makes this as a miniature version look absolutely awesome; then there is the tampo printed highlights.  As I have mentioned in other posts the new way Mattel are doing this is absolutely the right thing, the detail really stands out.

From front to back this is a superb example of what the team at Mattel can do.
