First released 20 years ago as a premium model was this well crafted example of the 1955 Cadillac Fleetwood.  For me its models like this that epitomize the classic days of US motoring and this is the type of casting that deserves the premium treatment to really make it stand out.

For the next 5 years the casting remained a premium model appearing as one of the 60th Anniversary models and a couple of Superfast variations before making its way in 2006 out of the premium category.

2006 is when the casting made its way out of the premium ranges and firmly in to the regular releases with its inclusion in the 2006 Vintage Classics 5 Pack.  After its introduction to the more commonly available models, it then had its premium status reinstated for another two outings before finally ending its career as a basic range vehicle in 2013; after that the casting was re-tooled before seeing the light of day as MB1129 in 2017
